The Galilee Development Authority

The Galilee Development Authority (GDA) promotes the social, economic, scientific, and technological development of the Galilee . The Authority’s activities include —

·     Preparing short and long-term plans to promote these goals

·     Promoting economic initiatives to develop the region

·     Coordinating between government ministries, authorities,

      and organizations involved in the development of   the Galilee

·     Initiating research

·     Coordinating with, and providing information to, entrepreneurs and investors

·     Consulting on the design and construction of factories

The Authority was established in 1993 under The Authority for the Development of the Galilee Law. Since its formation, the Authority has participated in hundreds of projects aimed at stimulating economic growth in the region.
