Galilee to receive additional budget of 1.5 billion NS
Raanan Dinur CEO of the Prime Minister's Office announced at the Galilee Conference for 2007 that government ministries would allocate an additional 1.5 billion New Shekel to the Galilee.
Mr. Dinur also told the participants of the conference that a total of 4 bilion NS would be added to the budget for the Galilee over the forthcoming years.
Galilee Kibbutzs Absorb New Members
After two decades of economic stagnation the kibbutz movement is back on its feet again. Fifteen galilee kibbutzim have embarked on a campaign to absorb new membership.
